Hey:
I just happened to check www.dsstester.com and they have posted NORW_125. Although it doesn't say if that is supposed to work with the card or not
Also, until yesterday I was atleast getting the local channels, but today even that's gone

I think 125 is one part of the card share fix. Also the channel loss is due to a regular key change if I'm not mistaken. Try a manual entry of the new keys if you can get them.

is there a fix for the coolsat 5000 with no card? My satalite has been down 2 months for both international and reguler dish!

Hi Keg, LATEST RUMOR---Viewsat cardless fix will be out this weekend. They claim the bin is working with just a few minor problems in the autoroll feature. I saw several IRC chats between some of the people involved and other coders. Keep in mind they pulled this stuff before but their web site is down with an announcement that the bin will be out for the fight this weekend. I sure hope so even though I don't have a Viewsat. It would mean the fix is possible and Pansat will be out with their fix also.
007wolf, No cardless fix for coolsat right now, but if the above story is true they will copy the fix as soon as it is out.

Just the new keys will only get you the true free channels. All the pay channels are still out of service unless you go to the CARD FIX solution.

Hey there I'm new to FTA. I just purchased the Coolsat 6000 premium receiver. Now I keep hearing that these thins don't work at all to receive anything, whether or not if you uploaded any software to them. I know we can't post any thing on these sites. anyone knows how to get a Cool'S-At 5000 to show the Local Channels... can not figure out "where to put" the 16x combination's
was told to dial the 8282 on the remote control/// and then Enter them in the line's 20 and 21 , but those lines take a Max of 8x combinations ea -- please Help

you will have 4 places you can enter numbers....i beleive its like this...where i show keys is where you enter them

hi, Thanks... but the codes i have see are 2x diff sets of 32 digit alphanumeric's ... the line 10-11 and 20-21 would only take 16x 's ea and enetered the first set of 16x into the lines 10-11 for ea key and then into the 20-21 .. and not working 0 no local free channels -- please help with more details ... thank you

The keys just changed last week. Make sure you have the right ones. There should be 4 lines with 16 numbers or letters in each. There are 2 sets of keys also. One set for D**H network and 1 set for B*V. Again make sure you have the right ones for the sats you are aimed at. If your receiver has the option for auto roll of the keys, shut that off before entering the new keys. Keep auto roll off at this time.

Please don't ask for keys or bin files on this site. I will not post anything here that could cause legal issues for Afterdawn. I will give instructions or point you in the right direction to find your answers. The Coolsat site is listed about 10 posts above this one. Don't ask questions in Pm's. Ask in open forum so everyone gets the benefit of the answers. Don't ask questions in my Shout box. I never have time to even look at it. I'll try to help as much as possible but only to a legal standpoint of this forum. There is no cardless fix at this time for any FTA receiver.

I have a program called Keymaster that pulls in the latest keys for me. They show the same as on that site. The date is also listed as today.
Never used that site before so I can't tell you if its good or not.

Jerry's right about the keys. Mine wasn't working either. I just changed them to any number and then back to Key86. It works now.
