Suits32 would you buy a card reader and card ? Are they EVER gunna have a bin fix for the wireless ?

no i wouldnt buy a card reader cause way to expensive..im not sure if they r ever gonna have a fix im most definetly sure they will but well see.

@berry1, I won't get the card reader. At least not at this time. I don't think the game is over yet. To go into the reader setup isn't worth the extra $300-$400. dollars to me. It would be cheaper to get a different box that works OTHER ways. In each case the systems that are working you will be taking a bigger risk than you did in the past.

Jerry thanks for the advise. Watching Channel 100 gets old sometime. I turn it on just some motion in my place. I heard there is a program work with the auto roll and is more stable.. is that true ?

Latest news is Germany has cracked the latest encryption. If its true we should see a fix within a week or two. Hopefully sooner.

Hi Jerry746,
You seem to have a good knowledge of coolsat5000. Perhaps you can help me, please! Everyone else is more than welcome to comment.
Does it really matter if you enter the new codes for BEV under NAG 1 or NAG 2? Can both NAGs have BEV with the latest codes and work properly?
I tried entering the new codes for BEV under NAG 1 and did the Auto Scan - it did not work. I tried entering the new codes for BEV under NAG 2 and did the Auto Scan - it did not work. I tried entering the new codes for BEV under both NAGs and did the Auto Scan - it did not work.
The new codes supplied within the last 2 weeks have never worked for me. Are they getting 'zapped' so quickly that I do not even have enough time to update them before they no longer function?
Silly question - do the codes vary based on the country you are in? Example US vs Canada?
Originally, I had 10, 11, 20, 21 as the 2-digit-prefix for each line. I even did an update a few months back and it worked. I changed it to 00, 01, 20, 21 - should it work this way? Because I tried it and it does not seem to make a difference.

Hey guys, my neighbor works for Dish Network and he's aware of the FTA situation. He know's people who have FTA box's and he told me that it won't be any time soon for any new fix's.

Hi jennifer0, I would stick to the NAG 2 area for the new keys. Be advised these keys seem to be changing every day so make sure you have the right keys. There are usually 2 sets listed. One set for DN, and one set for Bv. If you enter the DN keys in the BV slot. it won't work.

Probably overloaded with members trying to download the new Viewsat fix. Future-FTA the sister site to Al7bar is also working very slow. You can expect this from every site for the next few days. As more files are released for the other brands it will just get worse. At least the fix is out there.
