This new fix wont last long....Its all about the money. I bet its not up more than a week. Just a "band-aid" fix. So they can sell a few boxes. Just like Coolsat with the CardReaders. I heard there is more things that have to be figured out. But hard part is over. thats why it will be a "hit or miss" for awhile...but enjoy it while you can. Hope Coolsat comes out next! :-) Later!!!

If the coders have the full map read of the card like they said was needed, then the next counter move by DN will have to be a card change out to their subscribers. As we know this is possible but very expensive to DN. They can play with the encryption within the 102 card but if the coders have the full map then the fix will be possible again. The game goes on. Everyone thought this was the end of the FTA cardless fix but its still going.

Jerry , I think somebody said was right , it's about money. I think this cat and mouse game a'int gunna last long. You were saying there is a chaper way than the card reader? what might that be ? and would that a good solution. Having no tv is like without no toilet paper, it is hard to bear .. can't live without it .. Thanks for the help...

@berry1, Now that the new encryption has been broken, just wait it out until the file you need is released. The OTHER way I was talking about before were the solutions that required an internet connection. Buying one of those receivers is still about half the cost of the Coolsat auxed card fix. The problem with most of those other fixes including the Coolsat one was the extra risk involved. Loading a bin file is the safe way to go. I expect ALL receivers to have a bin file fix within a week.

Hello KEGNFOOL, thank you for advising. Would you, or anyone else, happen to have the new/functioning codes for BEV or are they not available at this time?
Thanks!

KEGNFOOL, thank you for supplying. Forgive my ignorance, but do I enter these codes at 8282 - Nag 1 or 2? If so, do I also enter the AUX# (86 & 96) as the prefix for the 2 sets of lines?
