Hope you can help. I am ex C&W north west. Had SV 1 box for about 3 years. For last 3 weeks or so, not been able to get Sly Sports 1 (but get 2 and 3), no ESPN, Disney and a few others. Tried deleting and doing manual scan on frequency and also tried factory reset, nothing works.
Find it strange that only losing the odd premium channel but still getting others. Didnt think N3 was being rolled out here yet?
Thanks mate, forgot to mention done an automatic scan as well (after factory reset), picks up the channels no probs but the ones mentioned above are scrambled, while others are OK.
I know on starview 2 u can try set defult key on the secret menu this has happened to me b4 and this was the only way I got the channels that went missing back.
as you have picked them up on a scan possibly outside influence ,presume you scanned with no splitter after factory reset and you did a set default key and emu to on.bad or scrambled maybe testing on a channel or 2 over there if they are more boxes will be effected .
What I find really strange is that my brother has exactly same box, lives around the corner and is not having same problems. He has been able to delete scrambled channels and manually install?
Just been to my brother's (he has same box). Connected my box to his cable connection and this made no difference. He has all channels and although he lost some a couple of weeks ago, he recovered them with an auto scan.I have tried this without success.
Struggling to understand how 2 boxes with same software can not pick up same channels in same area.
Sounds like maybe your tuner has gone faulty. Really U should try your bros box at your house if it works ok you will probably be better off buying a cheap 2nd hand starviewsuper box
