Reswob, I would be inclined to start from scratch again, reload the firmware, do the thing with the emulator, set the network to auto, and to use Istream.

Interesting to see how that progresses after they have sold quite a few more. Cheers for letting us know how it's getting on. Maybe keep us up to date if there are any changes.

now all we have to do is wait and see how long the server will hold up for as the more boxes sold the more glitching should be encountered i would say

great way to market a box, supplying a free card server connection. can't see that it is the maker of the box supplying the service so it must be the distributor. i figure that, as you point out e45, response times will definitely slow as the number of boxes on the network increase. another issue is how long the network will be available for at all before it gets closed down

the same can be said about CS on Sat, its a chance ya take I suppose with this sort of thing, I am sure they would have some sort of back up in place if that were to happen, but who knows........

mickah, thats very true. there are rumours flying that cs on sat will have its challenges soon. however it does seem that there are a lot of people out there working on solutions for sat as problems crop up. so it would seem that if any of these systems are alive by the end of the year it will be sat, and that is only because that is where most of the development work seems to take place. But, yes, there are no guarantees, other than taxes and death
