Hi, I am sorry to start a new thread...wondering if any1 can help please?, im in Oldham/UK, I have a new SV6 HD-LAN. It was working find on 18/08/2010, but its stopped working today, im just getting the FTA channels. The MAC add changed to 0A.00..., but i managed to change it back to original MAC add, but im still getting "Login is failed - error code (0). My internet is working ok, and I can see the Router is picking up the correct MAC from the SV6. any help would be much appreciated
Whats the difference between a CARLING-1.10.UPS file and Carling+_0712.UAD file? I tried loading CARLING-1.10.UPS but my box would not take it.
Starview 6 HD think ya mean the starview HD combo lan, so ya have just fixed yer MAC so now get the Starview_HD_Combo_+_0128.uad and install that 1st then get and install Carling+_0712.UAD. the CARLING-1.10.UPS is for the starview 6 which does not do HD
do you know where I could get these two files from please? if you could gimme a link for the files. many thanks.

thanxs for your help guys...but i've had to return the box to supplier...just couldnt get it to work... got a SV6 Lan (non hd) as replacement, that seems to be working now, although the channels do freeze sometimes, any ideas on that?, but i would prefer the hd box. you guys think there is a known fault with the hd boxes, or was it just me? cheers.
reason for freezing already explained. too many requests to public server. server cannot cope with requests.
