hi Guys

I may have bricked my s/t/a/r/v/i/e/w. I believe I have an a genuine box which just reads sta*vi*w on the left side. I think I tried to flash using the fv of starview the box.

I do get the green dash which is still (not moving) on the box and I also can download the fv almost upto 100% but in the end is says failed

Can someone help me fix this and advise the correct fv bc i am confused if s/v the box is the same as only s/v

thanks

different boxs mate.

What ya need to do is download the firmware and loader for the SV1, download the clone safe firmware to be sure

Here http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html

Connect the box to the PC and make sure its off. Start the loader and choose the firmware, now, press Download on the loader, count to 4 and flick the switch on the back of the Starview, it should kick in and start the loading and flash the box, it may take one or two attempts for it to actually flash, so be patient. Once done, leave the box until it restarts itself, then just connect to the TV and scan the chans again

Hiya

Getting to 100% is not an issue, I reach 100% but always get flash update failed.

I think I messed up loading some wrong stuf, I could have even clicked the channel data file option by mistake.

hope someone can figure.

thanks anyways

you need to try the above a a couple of times to force flash the box, if you have, then the loader on the box could be goosed
