Hi I have a Box Super working fairly well in the Cork area (missing a few channels).However my father's one is missing most channels (movies and sports plus some FTA. I have tried several factory resets and even a data transfer via null modem cable from my box but to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas or am I missing something?
do a rescan. there is no need 2 factory reset. also if u have the channels then u can do a manual scan as u have the frequencies, they r on the bottom right hand of the screen when u change channel
thanks but I've done auto and manual rescans and it still makes no difference.the same channels are there as before.
Make sure you've flashed the latest firmware, releaseed 23.06.09, shouldn't have any problems once you've done this. There are plenty of threads taking you through the procedure step by step.
Actually just realised if it's the box super there's nothing you can do, only SV box working in Ireland now is the SV4 Super USB and there's no sign of a fix for the box super
u will find that it wont b long b4 ur box goes the same way as ur dads,mine went 4 weeks b4 my mates did and we r in the same area
ok thanks for the info.I'm on borrowed time then.So there's no point in persuing to try to open the serial port to download the newest firmware.
