i have a NEC ND-2100A DVD Writer can it burn DL DVDs

well i guess i worded it wrong in the title but i know that atm it cannot burn dual layer dvds but is there like a firmware up or something that i could use to achieve this? any help would be helpful and ty in advance

You can buy a brand new one for about $25 to $30 dollars.I don't think you can make it burn a dual layer disc anyways.That drive is kind of old anyways.
