Problems with Philips PBDV1640P

    I am trying to burn a DL DVD+R with this burner using ImgBurn and I always get this error :

    Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Session Fixation Error Writing Lead In

    I have tried updating the firmware to 3.7 but I still recieve the same error. Can anyone give me any ideas to try?

    Try burning a single layer disc.

    I usually see this error with defective media.
