I've been using DVDFab for a couple of months now and I've never had trouble burning movies using DVDFab. Today, however, I encountered my first problem using DVDFab. I was trying to burn a movie today using DVDFab 6.0.1.0 but windows will close the program and not allow me to burn. Windows says that Data Execution Prevention(DEP) is closing the program to stop the cause of potential viruses.

So I follow the instructions given to me and turned off DEP for DVDFab and restarted the computer. After the restart, I tried to burn the dvd again but it still didn't work. Can anyone help?

BTW I was trying to burn the movie from my external hard drive if that helps any.

Try using imgburn, which is by far the best burning engine out there IMHO....and it's free!!

Thanks for recommending ImgBurn, it worked. There was one error that occurred before the burning process but, apparently, it didn't really prevent the movie from being burned. The error was something about volume label failing or something like that.

I would still like to learn of why DVDFab won't burn anymore. I don't think it's a problem with DVDFab. I think it might be a problem with a windows vista security issue or possibly a problem with the dics drive. Has anyone experienced this problem before?
