That's my question. I was having problems with the capture and after I changed the setting from PAL60 to PAL50 it worked... I'm using Pinnacle Studio 12...

So obviously the source you were capturing from was 50Hz not 60 .. the capture frequency has to match the source frequency.. or it doesn't work.. duh!

I watched a video on YouTube that told me to use AMCap and Instant DVD Recorder, and set IDR to NTSC and AMCap to SECAM and it worked with PAL60 and I can now record in colours :)
