I want to buy a device that i can record from tv to pc,
any suggestion
or will this do as i want to get rte,tv3 stations

I don't use a USB device - I have an older Hauppauge PCI card that is working under Windows 7 with no problems.
Most of the USB devices that I see have no processing hardware on board, thus any processing required depends on the PC.
If I was in the market for a USB tuner, it would have a built in mpeg decoder to ease the load on the PC.
