hi can any one help

have recently bought the above item
all installed ok (i think )
but can not capture when using vhs m/c as the external device
a message keeps showing

CANNOT START CAPTURE GRAPH

[15065:29:0]

is there anyone that can help

before i go mad or throw it out the window
