I couldn't make a backup of Millenium Season 1 disc 2 with Shrink & DVD Decrypter.
I read in my email about DVDFAB & Folder21iso. Everything worked fine and I used DVD Decrypter to burn to the DVD-R and the DVD worked on my computer, but when I brought it over to my DVD Player it showed an unsupported dormat. I have the Panasonic HD 95 which normally plays everything I ever put in it.

Now I am wondering if the DVD-R needs a special finalization. I know that DVD Decrypter always finalized my DVDs in the past so I am confused.

Can anyone help with this problem? It plays on the computer, but not on the home player!!!

    First time this ever happened.

It sounds as though the player doesn't like the media. What brand and type of media did you use and at what speed did you burn?

I used Folder2iso to create an iso, then used UltraIso to extract the files back to a folder. It sure looked like the same structure as the original DVD ;)
I never committed to burning it to disk.Merely satisfied myself that the guide worked and was available if needed.

The DVDFAB seemed to work fine. I now need a program that will create an .iso file in DVD format so I can use DVD Decrypter.

Does anyone know of one that will do what I am trying to do?

    Thanks

    Hi Rotary

I did all that with the 2 directories. It made the DVD and I was able to view it on the computer, but not on the home Panasonic player.
Someone said Folder21iso does not make DVD format.

I did have the directory down right and I had an iso file, but it wouldn't play on the Panasonic.

I use Prodata Discs from SuperMedia and I tried it on TDK also.

    No luck

    Any help?

Previously I had not completed the burning of the disk after using Folder2Iso, this time I saw it through and lo, the resultant disk is ignored by my standalone player(Toshiba SD3860), but playable on the PC.
I shall have to re-read the guide more closely, however, someone else can sacrifice a perfectly good Taiyo Yuden :)

    Used DVDFABdecrypter to rip
    Folder2iso to create iso
    Dvddecrypter to burn.

    hi

ok i didnt burn it! look below to see it does not make a UDF file structure! so i aint wasting a disc!

it only makes joliet/iso standard and rock ridge! not UDF.

picture 1 is an ISO made from Dvd Decrypter main movie only rip
