    Hi gurus,
    I got Verbatim 1-16x MIT dvd,s
    but when I'm burning it shows
    "burning at 16x"
    I want to burn only at 4x

    How could I change the burning speed?

    I'm using DVD shrink, DVD43 on the background and Nero to burn

    In shrink you'll change the burn speed after you click back up. It's under the burn settings tab.

    Binkie7,
    I got following options

    Maximun
    1.0x (1,385.0 kbps)
    2.0x (2,770.0 kbps)
    2.4x (3,324.0 kbps)

    I'll say the last one, right?

    If you only have the one drive to read and write then you'll have to go with the 2.4. Otherwise use one drive to read and put a blank in the burner. It will then give you the supported speeds of that disc and you can pick 4x. Or you can use decrypter to burn - just pick that opinion in shrink under backup target - burn w/ decrypter. You'll just need to have decrypter open and can pick 4x in decrypter.

    @mcbruja
    Yes it's fine to burn at 2.4x - will just take a little bit longer -not much. The slower the burn speed the less chance you have for errors.
