    Hey all,

I have a WMP54G wireless card in my work machine right now but it does not see any of the other surrounding networks that are outside around my buidling, but it does see my internal wireless network just fine.

I do have a Netgear wireless card (not in the machine right now) and also a Dell USB 2.0 wireless adapter (not connected right now) that when I use them I have not problems finding other networks.

I've tried searching for other available networks using XP's config as well as Linksys's monitor. I've called Linksys and they don't have a answer for me.

Does anyone know how to get the card to search and find other networks? In case anyone wants to know why I would want to find other networks, it's because the city I am in has free WiFi that I can connect to if let's say my internet here at the office ever goes down.

    Thanks for any help.

i have loads of WMP54G's, used in Linux and Windows. (the cards i have are RT2500 and RT61 chipsets). Anyways, mine have picked up neighbours' networks fine.
