check wihch com port your using in device manager, make sure its matched with gtrom, it doesnt matter about matching the baud rate

Ok firstly, it might match but you will still have problems, uninstall any printers, blue tooth devices etc, This will open all your com points, I had the same trouble as you, Believe me this will work, go to control panel, add and remove files, remove all printers and so on , If you are using a usb to rs 232 lead you will have to uninstall that aswell, when you have removed your stuff, install the usb to rs-232 lead again, now it should definetly work, let me know HOW YOU GET ON

HI guys this is getting intresting haha anyways just flashed my box to v300, the keys will change or have changed, i started of with the keys d5 etc but just looked on the keys on my box and they have changed. This is what i did
    1) flash the box to 300
    2) did a fresh automatic scan (choose your provider)
    3) waited for a bit and its working with new set of codes?? :S

anyways its working for me for now.

Flashed my box last night and took a key roll today no prob's.
But as i have said before these boxes remind me of the old ondigital scenario and it won't be long before they are all on the heap.

    Yes there is.
The clone comes in a blueish packaging
    [IMG]
It's size is like the old 1st Generation starview
    [IMG]
It's layout is like the old 1st Generation starview
    [IMG] [IMG]
    The remote has different indentations.

If your box came in the pink packaging and has a real remote but the box looks fake then your box may be a genuine 1st generation box.

The difference between a first generation box and a clone
    1st Generation Genuine
