trying to copy a box set (6 discs) done 5 of them but cannot do the last one. using any dvd with dvd shrink then i use vobblanker save it,then burn using dvd shrink again (and nero)last disc i keep getting data error at 40% cyclic redundancy check. anybody help ?

Try DVDFab Decrypter to rip to HDD, then use DVD Shrink to burn to DVD. Find it here: http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm Updated often and should handle it. Also, make sure the disc is clean and fingerprint free.

Based on what's been stated thus far, it appears you may have a bad press. Such DVDs will play well, but when you try and back them up, you'll run into problems such as yours. Your best bet is to try and return your DVD and exchange it for another, then try and create a backup form that one.
i had the same problem w/another flic. i used anydvd instead of dvdfab hd and it took care of it. mind you i used shrink to transcode in file set and imgburn to build and then burn.
try not to get hung up on any 1 proggie. throw it in the next one and so forth.
