noob starview help

hey all i was told by my uncle in ireland about how he gets all his channels for free using a starview box and told me to come to this forum and look into it.

i live in the uk [birmingham] and i am a Virgin media customer

i was wondering what box is best for me and what i need to do to set it up etc

any help and i would be very greatfull

Have a good read around the forum lots of info, I personally perfer the Eurovox over the Starview, but as said have a good read. One person's choice doesnt make another's

 

Based on your wallet would be my answer, if you want sumtin easy to maintain and install then THE BOX, there are other box's also, the Eurovox, Dreambox, Kryptview. But for ease of use, The BOX. There is no point in goin to tell you how to set it up as you dont have one. There are some good posts on the forum and if you check Scousers or Celtics posts you will find links to software and a how to.

 

thanks for such fast replys the problem was i have been lookin at this site for a few days and there is ALOT of information on it for different things so wasnt to sure then lol so figured best thing to do would jus ask

ok after reading about i think i understand what i need to do but just to be 100% clear ill ask

if i but a starview the boxand hook it up to my virgin media [livin in birmingham] will i get all the channels like sky sports/movies etc for free through the star view box?

Yes , you will get the channels available from your provider which include S*Y Sports/Movies , Setant@ , Adult Channels etc

 

hi hi hi me again jus been looking around for another answer couldnt find much sorry so i thought id buy yall again for some help

im thinkin of getting tiscali tv as i have their broadband and phone but was wondering if the box will work with it giving me all chans
