Basically I just want basic software that well let me burn avi files encoded with divX. Most people use it these days, the files are usually displayed at 640x480 and are about 175-180 Megs for a standard 20-25 minute show. If you download anime off the internet you know what I mean. The software that came with my computer (WinDVD Creator) seems to be picky about which of these files it will play without crashing and even if it does let it in most of the time the video/audio sync is off when I burn it to DVD. Does anyone have any suggestions about what software I should get? I've been looking around and pinnacle seems to be pretty popular but I've used that software before and it was nothing but trouble.
Does anybody think the sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 would work? I've been noticing that this program seems to get alot of good customer reviews and the price seems reasonable.
