Yep me too - rtm27 said it all about the gravy!

I'd love to send you some iluvendo but I'm clueless on how to make it - I just like to eat it.

As to no one was willing to help me out financially (except for the magnanamous and exceedingly generous Gm) I spenrt the last 20 minutes at the intersection panhandling for quarters (yup I made $8.77 in dimes, nickels, pennies and quarters...no dollars)

So I got enough for some cream gravy and...... a biscuit to go along with the CF steak !!1 (no thanks to you all XD )

finally someone that sees me for who I am!!! :D

well hello binks!! lovely to have you drop by for some "food insight". :D

Recipe for gravy!! NOT the package kind either!!! :p

    Ingredients:
flour (2-6 Table spoons.. more if you're feeding an army...lol)
milk (2 cups.. of course this is subjective)
    pepper to taste
bacon grease (2-3 Table spoons) (pork fat rules remember... :p) ok you can use veggie oil or canola oil but what's the fun in that?? oh and again..... amount depends on the "army" you're feeding

take your bacon grease and bring it up to temp on med-hi heat, add about 3 Tablespoons flour and "cook" until it's completely emulsified then add your milk. bring to a boil stirring frequently until you start to "thicken" add some pepper in there somewhere to your taste and continue stirring. You must stir!! lol. It will start to thicken after only a few minutes so be diligent. :) If it seems a little thick add some more milk, a little goes a long way, and if it seems a little thin, add some flour, and again a little goes a long way. :D

turn heat down to medium and continue to stir until it seems just a little thin to your liking, it will thicken a little more once you turn OFF the heat. ;)

pour into bowl or just spoon over your favorite gravy needing item. :)

    NOW eat with delight. :)

    ....gm

ps. hope i got that right. lol. i'm going by memory and that's not good. :O if any of you see a discrepancy please note it. ;)

$35 an hour?? I don't see those figures.

$8.77 x 3 (3 x 20 minutes = 1 hour) = $26.31. Unless someone gives him a huge tip, He is making $26 an hour. Which is still wayyy more than what I make!!

I could go for some nice sesame chicken right about now, along with a couple egg rolls and some sweet & sour pork.

You are right, and the sad part is I used a calculator to get the wrong answer :(

Although sometimes I wish there were 80 minutes in an hour...unless I'm at work.

Just got in. Went to a different intersection (looking for generous people to help me out).Spent 1 1/2 hours there. Aside from the
"get a job" heckling, made $189.83 (someone felt real sorry for me and gave me a benjie !!)Panhandling for money is tough. Seems like "pulling teeth" trying to get a quarter from some folks.

Now I have enough for a real dinner. If any of you were kind enough to help me out (the Gm is of course excluded), I would have gladly invited you to join me (after all I made $189.83 ), but :p

Tonite surf and turf, 16 oz Lobster tail broiled (with oodles of real dipping butter) and a 20 oz ribeye (grilled medium rare)

So to all, be nice. Gm, when you joining me for surf and turf ?

Gm, this is for you and me, we eat well !!!

Cooked for myself today, how's this for good eats...
1 lb. ground beef, browned add
1 can Campbells cream of Mushroom soup, warm and mix thoroughly till soup thickens.
Slice of bread, add mixture to the middle of slice and fold over. Not a traditional 2 slice o bread sandwich, but fold-over (very important for presentation)...
I'm not a bachelor anymore but I can still eat like it!!!

Add some sour cream and you'd have a Beef Stroganov sandwich :)
