i currently own a razer keyboard, mouse and headset as some of you may know the razer tarantula has ports on the back for a headset and the keyboad plugs into the motherboard sound ports (asus p5k) but i get a horrible interfernce noise, what is it?, can this be fixed?
Those ports are analog, so the problem is most likely coming from a bad cable or loose wiring inside the board. If you have a soldering iron and a replacement cable, it can be fixed...but you are probably better off getting a set of extension cables for your headset.
oh well thanks for reply, the cable for headphones are huge, its just it gets annoying wanting to unplug my headset and have to fiddle at tyhe back of my conputer, thanks anyway
