get everything else off the memory stick and just put the file from your desktop to your stick and try it again if it keeps coming file not supported try format your stick to ,one of the lads will show you, sorry i cant stay and talk you through it as i have to collect my kids, sorry to bail but ill be back later if you are still stuck

Word of warning do not buy a Starview 4 from falconsat. I have had a problem with mine and they ignore all emails for customer support. Do not touch them with a bargepole.

format the USB stick in the Starview, do not remove the stick or pull it when powered on, turn the SV on and off when removing it. when you have formatted the drive, turn the macine off, put the stick in the PC, drop the BIN file onto it, this and nothing else, put it back in the SV, go to to your USB and select the file, highlight it and then press OK, it should let you update the box using this file

Hi guys, just another question, It say's on the step by step guide that before you put any software on, do a factory reset. As mine is brand new, I am guessing there is no need for me to do a factory reset, would I be right?

No it goes directly onto the box. Just make sure you have a genuine box, (even then not gauranteed), before updating it.

Yep seen it now. Sounds like the splitter is the problem, did you try another one? Did you try a rescan at his house from the direct feed?
