Yes e45, thats the file I have on just now, but I still can't change my MAC back to what it should be. I only wish i found your file before my MAC became corrupted. Any ideas where i should go from here?

try factory resetting your box and start again from the start disconnect your ethernet cable and maybe even turn the router off it might kick the ip back for you

Thanks but I've tried the things you suggested without any joy. Can anyone confirm whether the MAC address is changeable under the latest firmwares dated 26th and 29th of May?

Both are already on so no joy there. Here's hoping that only a matter of time before what works in UK regarding HD channels works in Ireland.

Right, I have just brought one of these, can anyone just confirm for me that the only file i need to flash on the box is the one in the first post on this thread.

Yes i just read the whole thread before posting, but one of the posts on the previous thread mentions something about using two files, and i dont wanna mess up my box, so i want to know wether i just have to flash using the first file or the two file method ??

Try the one file method first, if that doesn't work then try the two file way.

Hello, I have tried the Irish file on Starview Combo HD Box but it does not work. I also Googled Starview 6 images and the Starview 6 is not the HD Combo box. Am I missing out on something? Thanks.

yes there is the sv.6 and the sv combo and both of them work in ire & uk

only use the combo file if it's the combo box carling for uk and guinness for ire
Also if your box is saying not connected ask e45 in the starview 6 futureproof link befoe the day is out

What's the likelihood that the HD channels will work on this box in Ireland sometime in the future as they're already working in UK?
