I have a very large structure of files and folders that I need to transfer to an external hard drive but because the file structure is 11 gb, some of the files didn't get copied properly through the windows 7 file transfer.

I want an option like on filezilla that checks the file name over again and only replaces the file or folder if its a different size?

Can anybody help by supplying a program name or added options to the windows file explorer?

    I would greatly appreciate it

I'm not entirely sure but you may be able to use a batch file to do something like this - might be worth looking in to if you're at all familiar with that.

You can try WinMerge, seems like the type of software you are looking for.

I have the same needs and have found TERACOPY to be a god send
as far as handling the copying of massive amounts of data from
one logical drive to another logical drive. It integrates with
WinDiskExplorer and you never hardly know it is there.

If that does not work, google then download and try FILEBOSS, that is what I used to use. In some ways is more powerful.

Thank you, I will have to try out these programs. Unfortunately, WinMerge didn't seem to work. After copying, I tried their 'sync' option and everything came up normal by its check but the system would not run the file so there is still an error somewhere.
