Oppo launches new 'Find 5' flagship smartphone

Oppo, best known for their luxury DVD/Blu-ray players and home theater setups, has launched their new flagship smartphone, the Find 5.
The device has a thin form factor and features a 5-inch 1080p display with 441ppi, Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chip with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.1.2 and a large 2,500mAh battery.

Additionally, the phone has an impressive 13MP 5fps camera with hardware-enabled HDR for both photos and video, a first for the industry. The company adds that the camera can capture slow motion at up to 120fps.

On the audio side, the Find 5 has Dirac HD, a technology used in Rolls Royce sound systems.

Unfortunately, as is becoming standard, the phone has no microSD slot and no removable battery.

When the phone goes on sale next month, it will cost $500 unlocked for the U.S. market and slightly cheaper in China.

No microSD slot is kinda depressing but I'll definitely be considering this if its good to go on AWS...

Just get a nexus 4. It's so much better than this. Why is the back button on the right side? That doesn't make any sense. My one gripe about the S3 as well. Also, This phone looks awful and the 1080P screen will just be a big battery drain from an off brand company.

All dependent on the camera quality. Can't think of anything I hate more than the camera on my Galaxy Nexus.
