Thinking i need to look for a new set up as virgin is costing me currently £90 a month for broardband and tv all sports channels no films and no phone line with 3 boxes in the house. Until the death of the old starview boxes i was fine then when everything changed to Nagra 3 so i got lazy and went back subscribing to virgin can anyone please advise a cheaper route.

    Requirements

Need to be able to watch different channels in three different rooms same time.
    Football channels clearly a must.
Pay per view and movies would be great if possible.
Must be stable and not something gonna go on the blink all the time.
Set up cost not over the top but not set a budget as long as i save on my monthly cost

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

    Thanks

on cable would be the kryptview 780 sd box or the hd version phoenix hd 850,you would need 3 boxes and a lan connection for all.
pay per view would be your providers box.

    none once boxes are bought.

bit like the early starview/digivox era pre n3.

But....... you are not just stuck with cable, you could go the sat route, 3 new open boxes hd would cost around £200 but would need a sub for each box (providers may give you discount for using his/her services in the same household)
