    Hey guys,

    first the system specs:
    asus p6t deluxe v1 mobo
    i7 920
    8gb ram
    850w psu
    9800gtx+ gpu

anyway, today I bought an ssd ocz vertex 4. Plugged it all in, popped the win 7 CD in, deleted partitions of my old hdd and formatted both. Installed os on ssd. Now when my hdd is set to 1st priority for boot order it works just fine. But when the ssd is set as first it just says please elect proper boot device and reboot. How does that work..

No they were both reformatted, clean install on the SSD, but for some reason it would only boot if the HDD was 1st priority on the boot list even if it was empty :S I just disconnected the hdd and re-installed...works fine now.

    Thank you :)
