Got an issue with my burner that i need help with. I have had my computer for about 6 months now and it has a matshita dvd burner. It worked fine since i purchased it but once i had to reformat the hd it is acting up. It will read dvd's fine and will read and burn dvdrw's but it wont burn dvdr's. I am using the same media from the same pack that i have been using since i purchased it but now they wont work. I have been using imation. I tried an imation dvdrw and it burned fine but then i tried a maxell dvdr and it keeps giving me the same error. Power calibration error. I know most people will think its the media due to the error but these discs have worked fine since i purchased them. I tried to find if there is a firmware update but cant locat one. Please help.
