You should be fine. The Verbatim discs you have should work with your drive. I think the manufacturer's id for them is MCC which are definitely good.

I use Verbatim Digital Movie a great deal of the time and it is very reliable media. If you have used regular Verbatim media with no problem, then this will work it is exactly the same just looks prettier. Just make sure your burner's firmware is up to date.

Have you tried Shrink or Nero Recode to compress it to fit on a DVD5?
If doing the movie only you may not need any compression and it will fit on a DVD5.

Why are you Leeching off this thread when you already started your own thread with this same question? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/206977

    DVD5 - 4.7 gig (actually holds 4.38 gig)
DVD9 - dual layer 8.5 gig (actually holds 7.95 gig)
    Download shrink (free) from here:
    http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm
You should also download Decrypter which will handle the newer copy protections that shrink can't:
    http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm
For help using both of these see arniebear's sig above for bbmayo's & scutapete's guides.
Post back with any more questions/help that you need.

I'm sorry I was under the impression you did get your answers in your thread? If not you should have asked some more and I would have been more than glad to help you out. :)

I did ask you in that thread how big of a movie you were trying to copy because it may not need split in two... Oh well

    Cheers

You know what I am calm. Your breaking of the rules didn't really bother me at all I was just trying to help you out before one of those people that do look all over the forum (Moderators) see's what you are doing and bans you. I was only looking out for you so if you want to continue to ask your question in 4 different threads then be my guest. Because sooner or later you will come across someone that does get upset, but as for me I just have fun laughing at your responses...

    Cheers

    bbmayo's post on rule 8:
wasn't aimed at you as you can see.
Funny thing is I didn't know about your other thread and I was sending you back to bbmayo anyhow.
All bbmayo was trying to do is put you on 'the right path' for AD.
