The ROOT is the first window that you will see after you have entered your PSP drive.

Greets... Has anyone figured a way to play games without the computer from an external HD??... I've heard of rapsody s25 ide hard drive USB (OTG)device where you put in a 40,60,80 gb ide 2.5 drive, Any others that are good for PSP?? Thanks Dudes... Hopefully under 100 bucks?? For 100 bucks it should include the drive too..

Run "PSPHost.exe". Then you should see a PSP icon in the "taskbar" on the bottom right corner of your screen. Right-click it -> and select "Settings". It's that simple. And please don't make multiple posts after one another regarding the same question, edit it, ok?

"MrRochie"

No, I don't know a way to play games from an external h-drive sorry. Maybe someone else knows.

Ok, anyway I finally found the settings and I have a few questions. First of all am I suppose to make a new folder for the Iso or should I have already had one. Second I created the folders like your example and got this message. Usbhost is no longer running. It may have been terminated or found an error.

Try an older version. Something like 1.8.
That version produces the same message.

How do I install it because when I click on the zipped folder, and select run, it says a message that there is an error. If I try to skip the warning saying that it can't read usbhost, my psp freezes up when I put in the disk.

Do you even have custom firmware and usbhostfs installed?

Update
now got 1.8 and it still says:
Component 'SysTray.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Try this:

Disable the plugins first in "Recovery Mode".

Plug in your "PSP" to your PC as normal. Then go into your PSP's drive -> then "seplugins" -> then open up "USBMOUNT.inf".

On the first line that says "boot=......"

Delete everything behind the "(boot=)" so it looks like this:

BEFORE:
boot=Whatever.

AFTER:
boot=

Now restart the "PSP" and go to "Recovery Mode" to enable the plugins again.

Now try it out.
