Are you trying to change the code manually on a v3.00 API. There is no need. Just change the Key EMU to ON goto a channel like MTV and wait for update pprocess to complete

I HAVE CHECKED THE 301 FILE AND IT APPEARS TO BE THE SAME , YET IT IS WORKING 100 TIMES BETTER, MAYBE THERE HAS BEEN SOMETHING DONE TO IT, MY MATE WAS RUNNING ON 300 FILE AND HIS CHANNELS WERE BLANKED HE UPDATED TO 301 TODAY AND ALL IS WORKING, WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND IS , IF IT IS THE SAME FILE, WHY IS IT FIXING SO MANY PEOPLES CABLE BOXES

Firstly goto System Information and check the API ver of the box if it is 3.00 then the update should complete if it is not the you need to update. There is nothing wrong with a first generation box. I have one.

Currently no, but there has been some reports that reflashing the 300 firmware will fix that problem, but those have been unconfirmed
