virtual dub joined avis far to big

I joined 2 avis in virual dub and boilsoft joiner and they both end up at about 20 gig and then I run out of space on my hd. Any ideas?

 

I forgot to put in my first thread that they are dvdivx avis

 

you need to put it to direct stream copy, now yours are using uncompressed frames.

 

I already have it on direct stream copy and it is still the same.

 

There's either something you're doing wrong, or something wrong with the avi's.
If nothing you change seems to help, just recompress the files using DivX.
That's alot easier that trying to dick around with a million things to get it to work.

 

did you frameserve it in anyway ? i never use drdivx...
frameserving is uncompressed files.
