Will Xbox Live give me hell when I try to mod?

I have an X-BIT on order, and I've downloaded the evox bios and dashboard in advance for when the time comes. I currently have XBOX Live on my box and I was wondering if that is going to give me trouble once I try to get all the dashboard and stuff going? Are there any things I need to do in advance to make sure I all will go smoothly?

Well if you try to use Xbox live on a backup game or when your mod chip is installed, then you will be banned for life.

Some mod chips have an off switch so you will be able to use Live when the mod chip is off and the original M$ bios is loaded. Some mod chips automatically stop you from accessing Live when it is switched on to protect your Live account.
