    I am looking at getting this model recorder to go along with my DVR for Direct TV. Direct TV is digital and I was wandering if this product has good capture integrity. I am in college so the money is a little tight. If you would reccommend anything else, please help me out. Thanks

    Pioneer recorders are very good at picture quality. Others with excellent picture quality would be JVC and LiteOn.
