I need a virtual CD-RW that i can use in windows to create cd image (all format): it must be usable by all cdburning software such as nero or windows media player 8 . Does anyone know if it exists and where can be downloaded? thanks
Try this link, It is a programme I use and may be what you are looking for. http://www.daemon-tools.net
thank you, but i just know that program! it can mount cd-image, but what i really want is a true virtual CD-RW device! Can daemon-tools act as a virtual device?
My need is to test my cd-image before i burn them. I need something like Nero's ImageRecorder (not ImageDriver) that can be used with all burning software, including Nero. This virtual cdrecorder must appear in "My Computer" as a true cdrecorder. I searched a lot into Web, but founded nothing. Perhaps does not such software exist? Help me! (excuse me for my poor english )
I still have trouble understanding what would you gain with this. You want an emulator that performs an emulated write to your HD - then what? Why can't you test it with mounting the image as virtual CD-ROM?
I'm a software developer and i want to test my burning application without wasting cd-rom! Do you know another way to do this? with a virtual cdrecorder perhaps i could test my application any times i want...
GRas, Can CloneCD virtual driver also emulate writing? (I doubt it). cf222, I think you should just use CD-RWs..
