Please Help

Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

I recently purchased a dvd burner Sony DRU-120A, I need assistance on how I can back up my dvd's so the copy will play in the dvd player as well. Also will the copies play in the playstation 2 dvd player or xbox dvd player? I have tried 2 different programs called decss and smart ripper but have not had any luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Smart ripper (I like DVD decryptor) is only the first step.If the files are under 4.3Gig then i then use ifo edit to create bup & ifo files and then burn the lot back to dvd.
