help with the flashing red light and my dvd player

i installed an xecuter 2.3b lite plus and a hard drive. i can record game just fine but when i turn off the chip i get a flashing red light on my xbox. and i can get the dvd to fire up. what do i need to do to fix this problem. can you help me please someone

i locked the hard drive and nothing same thing

 

ftp the backups you made of the original c and e drives onto the new hd (c & e). If you don't have them you can download from usual places.
