upgrade help

    I am looking for some help on what hardware I should upgrade to have faster rendering and optimal comp usage. Computer is mainly used for Video Editing. currently i have;

    -2.4 ghz intel P4 cpu
    -intel mobo D845EPT2 533 fsb
    -2 512/mb ram pc2700
    -ATI all-n-wonder graphics card, i think its the 7800 series, not sure. I've had it for about 1 1/2 years.

    If i missed something, let me know...

    For video editing you should definetly go for a amd 64bit proc.

    Your ram is ok, would be better at pc3200 or above but if you dont want to buy more ram then that is ok.

    Get a new gfx card, all in wonder 9600xt or above.

    I would think you will need a bigger hard drive seen as you are doing video editing so a 160gig or 200gig 7200rpm would be good.

    newegg.com has some great prices on these products although you are going to need alot of money.
