I have a Sony Vaio Desktop pc (model rx752 digital studio pc) and it came with a DVD burner. Im not sure if its DVD -R or +R (my dvdrw is a Pioneer DVDRW DVR-104) . I cant seem to be able to locate it on any DVDRW tables...Im also running DVDitPE and it wont recognise the DVD+R i put in there (a good indication its only compatible with DVD-R)
My second question is this : It seems IMPOSSIBLE to locate any websites that go thru the step by step process of making backup DVD games for my modded PS2 (except a guide you can buy for 20 bucks - yeah right). I would have figured this sort of information to be readily available (same with backing up CD PS2 games) but alas i can find nothing! Could someone please tell me or direct me in the right way? Im not sure what modchip I have, but I know its sodered and requires a gameshark and a cd/dvd swap. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated....

use prassi primo DVD m8....build image (read dvd)..global image (write dvdr)

sounds like you have a neo 2.2 that will need a double swap for playing dvdr`s.

just a single swap for cdr`s.
