record from dvd player to philips dvd recorder

    Have a philips DVDR70 recorder and a philips DVD62S player. Have connected the dvd player to scart EXT2 socket on DVD recorder and it plays to the TV fine.. but if try to record on DVD recorder it says 'no signal' what am I doing wrong....

    Welcome to Macrovision DVD copy protection. You need to place a video stabiliser inbetween both pieces of hardware.

    A quick search on google will help you out
