Hi all, Using tmpgenc or cucusoft (yea i know its cheesy) to convert a 23.976 XVID, the file is changed to 29.970 fps so within a second I have about 5 tiny judders during playback. Converting to pal 25fps I only have about 1 judder per second. BUT...... Can I convert this file so it is smooth during playback - make a dvd disk that is 23.976 fps ?? I dont really want to go messing with the m2v file on its own because this is only going to throw the audio sync out, there must be a move i can make when doing the encode from avi. any guidance muchly appreciated - thx
Frame rate conversion is simple using VirtualDub. Select 'Video/Frame Rate' and under 'Frame rate conversion' select 'Convert to fps:' and enter the desired frame rate. Ensure both Audio and Video are set to 'Direct stream copy' and 'File/Save as AVI'. Conversion is quick (>1000 fps) Rgds
