Hey all,
Has anyone in here managed to get 'Football Manager Handheld' working on a psp with firware 1.50
I tried opening it using the 'mphgameloader'method by opening the iso using 'runumd' and then 'mphgameloader'
BUT when i did that it just came up with a screen saying loading game for a while then the psp just turned its self off!
Could anyone help with how to fix this?
Maybe a different loader would work, i dont know

Hey Every One I Just Got My PSP LCD Screen Repaired So Its Been A While Since I Didnt Get Updated About The Newest Thing On The PSP So I Got 3 Isos Thats Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Exit And Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai And I Would Like To Know How Can I Get Them Played On MY PSP I Got Thr Firmware V 1.50 If Someone Could Help Me Id Appreciate It Its Really Been A While So I Dun Know Whats New Or How To Use IT

GR13 you are the man for these psp problems.
I have version 1.5 with devhook and umdemulator on, i cant get pro evo 5 to work, tried your method but after loading devhook just went back to main screen again! then when treid to load thru the umd section, just says game couldnt be started!!! HELP PLEASE!!

For Pro evo 5, you have to use the runUMD mod (according to the compatibility list found here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/loader-compatibility-list.php ).
Here are the instructions from my guide:

After some more researching I found yet another way to run the new ISOS. This method uses a modified version of RunUMD and an ISO patcher, to get the ISOs to work.
1.Obtain RunUMD (modified version), and ISO patcher from here: http://rapidshare.de/files/16887100/Generic_RunUMD_Hack_and_BOOT.... Also download this file: http://rapidshare.de/files/17028377/x.rar.html .EDIT: The password to the archive is www.projectpsp.com. Extract the files from this archive into a folder called X on the root of your memory stick.
2.Extract the contents of the .zip file, to your hard drive.
3.From your harddrive copy the two folders named runumdmod and runumdmod% to your PSP\GAME folder in your memory stick.
4.Obtain umdgen from http://www.umdgen.com. Run UMDGen and extract your ISO onto your memory stick. Delete the file called UMD_DATA.BIN. Your memory stick should have the following folders on it: X, PSP and PSP_GAME (from your ISO).Use the executable file included to patch the boot.bin and eboot.bin file in the PSP_GAME\SYSDIR folder on your memory stick.
5.Insert a UMD and start up the runumd mod on your memory stick, press X
7. Your game should start!

Dont understand your guide at all, i usually get most games working with devhook or devhook evolved, i dont understand all the boot bin bit your on about there is an easier way to play i just cant figure it out.

For newer games you need to use the complicated methods (unless you have downloaded a fixed ISO).
By boot.bin I mean the file called boot.bin in the PSP_GAME\SYS_DIR\ folder of an ISO (you can extract ISOs using UMDGen, download it from: http://www.umdgen.com ).
Which other parts dont you understand? I'm happy to answer any questions.

Please someone help..and post a comment, i have placed an iso fle in my iso folder and followed instructions as per below..There are also config and run.bmp files in the umdemulatoe d/load from psps hacks..

1. Open your downloaded UMDemulator and you will see tow folders: one named "PSP" and the otherone named "UMDEMULATOR".
2. Connecto yur PSP into your computer with the USB cable and once you have done this a screen will be opened in which there should be a folder named "PSP". Inside this folder there should be for other folders: "GAMES" "PHOTOS" "MOVIES" MUSIC".
3. Open the zipped umdemulator and open the "PSP" Folder, then open the next folder named "GAME" and then extract the items inside this folder (UMDEMULATOR and UMDEMULATOR%) to THe "GAME" folder of the PSP.
4. Extract the "UMDEEMULATOR" folder from the zipped UMDemulator to the root dierctory of the PSP and put it just beside the "PSP" folder

I have followed the orignal instal.... Is a UMD_DATA.BIN just a folder. If not where do I get it,I've got the right version of the umd emu and it was not in there. Please help.

Hi, I've use and follow GR13 guide and currently using UMDEMULATOR
the method I use to launch is system menu, so when I choose the ISO it will back to the psp menu then I choose the UMD.... for Metal Gear Ac!d2
it work, but for Viewtiful Joe an error prompt when I choose the UMD it say "The game could not be started. (FFFFFED3)"
what should I do to play V. Joe succesfully?

For Viewtiful Joe You are going to need to do three things.
You are going to need to replace the prxs w/ the prxs from star wars battle front 2(if you don't have these ask eternalis or bombayboy, they have the prxs ready)
2. You are going to need umdgen : http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/454
Rebuild the iso with padding on.
3. Launch umdemulator and set emulation mode to system menu.
After system menu press VJ and then it will take you back out to the menu, when it does this, select mph game loader and it should play.

Hi there, logged into MSN messenger didnt find you on my list.
Couldnt work out your email address?
Anyway, I'd like to get MGA 2 working on my PSP as an ISO had a little problem with the instructions you sent..
You mentioned the PRX Flles you would send me? ALso do you have a proper MGA2 Iso i could have whenever i d/load this it comes as loads of seperate files..Need a proper iso!

Hi everybody.
I have read all your questions and answers and you guys are doing a nice job helping each other I have to say!
I have some questions regarding this matter.
I have the UMD Emulator V0.8c + Device Hook 2.2
Everything is correctly installed, but I have some problems.
None of the games that I have been trying to load works.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
Daxter
Is it so that all games don't work?
Can someone put up a list with working/non-working games?
Would really help everyone alot.
I find it strange that there ARE isos out there, when they are not playable, that for me is a mystery, so someone please help me solving that mystery! =)

I have found ways to make these games work, but I have another problem.
Boot.bin, Eboot.bin
What are these files and where do I find them?
And all these sysdir folders that need to be replaced etc etc etc.. I do not have these folders, do I just create them?
How do I find the contains of these folders?
Jeez this is really tiring.
