Why are people still having connection problems..

Simple.. Don't put a gateway setting in your pc settings unless you are using a router.

too true, too true :( some people don't read the instructions very carefully ;) or even the THREAD TITLE- this is meant for people using crossover cables....

use xbins or torrent sites to get an autoinstaller. slayers autoinstallers are good for modchips, and i think its called AID or something thats good for softmod use.

thanks but when it has downloaded should i put in xiso straight away because it says when i open the file on the computer to install it should i do that or put it in xiso thanks

im assuming you have slayers evox autoinstaller then? use WinRAR or winACE to extract it, just google it and someone will have a password for you; it is against the rules to post passwords around here and incidently, I cant seem to find mine ;)

i dont have a burner but i do have a cross over cable but when i transfer games it works but when i try to look for the game on hd it doesnt show up....... but when i look threw the files on xbox its their and yes its modded wit chip and i do believe its a iso file.... any idea what im doin wrong??

Thanks for this post It worked no problem for me at all, I am using 192.168.0.1 for Pc ip and Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, for the xbox its Unix chip, Evox dash, Static ip: On, 192.168.0.100 - ip and nothing for the Subnet mask, Flashfxp , Alocohol 120% and Qwix were the programs i used. Hope this helps You guys who cant get it working

Have an Xbox mod or be a plain old sod.

You can buy a crossover cable at any computer store...It should say right on it what it is, don't get confused and buy a regular Cat5 ethernet cable.

Ok, so I go to best buy, buy a cat5 crossover cable and plug it at my ethernet port on my xbox and on my computer get the ftp and ftp the iso over???!??!?
