Can anybody send me the Idiots Guide for the Dbox2? All my channels have stopped working and I don't know how to get them back. I have tried to scan for them but nothing's working.

dbox well its been sitting in the loft for 7 months till my 13 year old son came across it and asked what it was. when i told him and the problem with the image file he went to google and asked for help which took him to this site. after buying a sertain crossover cable (2.50) he read part devil 1916. i said it would not work as it is a sagem dbox 2 he flashed the box with a sportster image and scand the box and to my suprise hey presto it acturally works what a xmas box that was thanx

your box sounds like its lost its image file and dosent matter how much you scan it , it will not come back as you have got to flash the chip inside do you know how to flash!!! i mean the box.

Hi everybody sorry if this has been mentioned earlier but I`ve looked and can`t see it anywhere. When watching the dbox2 I can see another programme very slightly in the background. I have tried moving the dbox from my other things ie pvr and dvd player but it doesn`t seem to make any difference. Also I have a 3db attenuator in line with the f connector to the dbox2. Any ideas would be welcome. Cheers and all the best

Great guide benifa.

Can someone post me a link to where I can download DBOX2-IMAGEFLASHINGASSISTENT listed in the guide.

I have a box working at present but there is a block on the top right hand of the screen. Hopefully flashing it will sort the problem or I will need to send it back.

All,

I suddenly thought that some who are new to the Dbox may mistakenly assume that I wrote the guides I posted - I didn't! In fact, I'm a newbie myself. The guides I uploaded are all written by other people, and the credit is due to them entirely. I simply came across them along the way, and put them together for convenience..

HIya guys.. FIRST POSTING here. Could anyone help. On 1st Jan i woke to find all the channels except the terestial ones (like BBC1 ITV) were not working - just a blank screen. I tried RE scanning but no luck. I could only view the BBC and ITV CH4...but no sports etc..
Does anyone have any help/ suggestions experience??

Then read the one called BeginnersGuide. It tell you how to flash the box. The image you have on it is probably faulty/outdated.
