Eurovox Max problem

hi i downloaded the firmware onto my eurovox and when i connected it back up and did a scan i get no programes,and if i hit the update channel button its coming up no tranponder to scan,any help

 

have you tried factory resetting the box, then power scanning again?

I have the Black box 2008. Still getting 'Receiver not detected'

 

dsaund, well i have a ev blue and my m8 has an ev red and it won't detect ours either.

am jus watchin for a fix or help same as you.

ps. i have not tried altering the baud rate of my com port to its highest which i have read elsewhere, but as it won't detect my box, i can't see this helping me or you.

 

I've uploaded the new fix and all is working well.

I am, however, missing a few channels, not a major problem but i'd like to get them if possible. I have seen some advice suggesting a manual scan but when i try it i get no response when pressing blue button. I'm missing Setanta 2 and Setanta Golf - not sure about any others and I'm in Glasgow area. Any help would be most welcome.

 

help ive had euro-vox max v for undr 12 months and all im getting is "codes being updated " and nothing more ive done two power scans all channels are there but the same message keeps coming up.
can anyone help. thanks

Simon....sorry but i have the Eurovox max (there is no V after it) but it came in a red box...so your statement above confuses me a bit...sorry..my box is black and grey...is a euro-vox max and came in a red box...which should i use..the eurovox max v or the red box one??

 

you need to manually input the codes by going to menu then yellow, the codes you need are here. make sure you use the right provider codes for you so you need to know who was your provider before V Media took over. make sure your provider codes match up with the key codes or they wont work:

Hi all,

Have a EuroVox Max 2008 and the picture is freezing totally and/or breaking up into a mixed up jigsaw and/or giving me a poor signal message before restoring the signal and repeating the freeze/stagger cycle. I guess the signal quality is hovering around the low end of what's needed to produce a picture.

I had an N*L engineer check the signal strength and connections etc with the EuroVox taken out and the standard N*L digital box in its place. He actually replaced some of the terminations so whats getting to the box is as good as it's going to get. It reads between 29.4 and 30.2 on the 5th line down in "technical information" on the N*L box which I understand is the signal strength?

Any one with suggestions on how to improve?

 

i think its fair to point this out - it does not matter what colour your eurovox box is, but the colour of the box it came in is what determines the colour of your box.

Have made a lot of progress now, codes are good. Can anyone tell me how to change symbol rate (to 6875) for a powerscan. I can change it for a normal scan but can't for a powerscan thus not getting all the channels ?

 

i have a eurovox max v 2008. i live in dub on n*l. have to put the codes in manually the last week. i came across the new software named 10_04_08. can anyone verify whether this works. any help would be appriciated
