is it possible, i know it is, to play playstation or ps2 games on your computer. what programs do i need in order to make my cd drive read the content of the disk.

you don't need any special software to make the cd drive read the content of the disk. (PS2 uses normal standards for CD's and DVD's).
In order to play ps2 games on PC, u need an emulator. the only one i can think of is PCSX2, and u can get it from www.pcsx2.net/
However, at the moment, the emulator only plays a handfull of games, and not very well. (also you gonna need one kick arse high end PC to run the emulator)

Hi all i have a very powerful pc AMD 64 8.4ghz Dual Core and i can run quite alot of games including Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 but i was wondering i wanted to cheat on that game as i have already completed it so how can i use Action Replay Max on there, ARM is a ISO and i boot then select the cheats i want to use then run the game i want to play but it just crashes on me can someone tell me what the problem is?

Hi yes it is AMD 64 Athlon 8.4ghz but its a 4.2ghz dual core processer so i call it 8.4ghz my mistake lol

no there is no working emulator for the ps2
there is pcsx2 but that suck there hardly no games u can play on there like the first pcsx it suck to but if emurayden comes out for ps2 like it did for psx then it will work perfect.
the reason why i said emurayden is because they are the best playstation emulators out there
