I have a Panasonic DMR-E50 standalone dvd recorder or rather it used to record. Now it can only play. It starts to record but when the dvd counter reches 30 it stops. Cann anybody help.

Can't help you but that's a worrying development.. (as I have one of these machines) -- How long have you had your machine? Is it still under guarantee? If so I'd take it back to where you bought it
