    Hi

I want to use this card as a tv card. It has an svideo in port. It is unclear from the manual if this card has a TV tuner. Is it possible to convert my tv signal which is an rf lead into an svideo or composite connection. The only solution I can see is hooking it up through my video player and using a scart to composite adaptor.

    Si

    Hi Wookie,
The V9520-VS contains an nVidia universal video capture chip.
If you hookup a VCR as the TV tuner and MTS audio decoder, your PC can display the video.
There is no way to connect RF antenna input, even if it could tune TV channels (it claims to contain nVidia TV tuner).
There is V9520-HT for that, but the guts are the same as your model, so the nVidia tuner goes unused in yours.
Just use a VCR (hopefully hi-fi MTS with dbx noise reduction, as per MTS spec) and you will get better quality, plus wireless remote etc (bonus!)
    Regards
